Lost & Found QR code tags
Stick a QR tag on anything you'd hate to lose. When a finder scans it, you get an instant alert with their message and location — and your contact details stay private.
Lost & Found tags need a free account
Unlike a static code, a Lost & Found tag is a live page that alerts you the moment someone finds your item — with their message and location. That needs an account so we know who to notify.

How it works
Create your tag
Add what the item is and a private passcode, then print the QR and stick it on your bag, collar, or laptop.
A finder scans it
They see it's a registered item and leave you a message — optionally sharing their exact location.
You get alerted
An email lands instantly with the finder's contact and where they are, so you can arrange the handover.
Your details stay private
By default finders send you a message and you reach out — your phone and email are never exposed on the tag.
Alerted with a location
Every found report includes the finder's area, and a precise map pin if they choose to share it.
Theft-aware & permanent
A wrong passcode alerts you to tampering, and Lost & Found tags never expire — so the tag keeps working for years.
Frequently asked questions
- What is a Lost & Found QR code?
- It's a QR tag you attach to a physical item. Scanning it opens a page that lets the finder notify you privately, so you can get your item back — without printing your personal contact details in the open.
- Does the finder see my phone number or email?
- Not unless you choose to show them. By default the tag uses a private relay: the finder leaves a message and their contact, and we email you — your details stay hidden. You can optionally reveal your contact directly, which is handy for pets with medical needs.
- How do I know where my lost item is?
- Each found report captures the finder's approximate area automatically, and the finder can tap “Share my location” to attach a precise map pin — so your alert email tells you roughly, or exactly, where the item turned up.
- Do Lost & Found tags expire?
- No. Unlike other free dynamic codes, Lost & Found tags never expire — the tag on your luggage or your pet's collar keeps working for good.
- What can I put a tag on?
- Luggage and carry-ons, pet collars, laptops and cameras, bikes, keys, water bottles, and medical-ID items — anything you'd want returned.
